Therapeutic Consultation is an indirect service that offers individuals and their family members, caregivers, and other providers personalized guidance and training to effectively implement the individual’s support plan (ISP). This benefit is available to individuals using the Virginia Medicaid Community Living (CL) or Family and Individual Supports (FIS) waivers through the state’s Developmental Disability (DD) waiver program.
